SkipIt is completely free and does not collect any personal information. All data is stored locally on your device or synchronized through your Google account via Chrome's built-in sync feature.

Presets Custom playback speed presets (up to 8 presets) that you configure
Auto-Skip Settings Your preferences for automatically skipping intros and recaps, including click delay settings and debug mode preferences
Site Settings Which streaming platforms (Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, Crunchyroll, Apple TV+, Paramount+) you have enabled or disabled the extension for
Theme Preferences Your dark mode or light mode preference
Per-Site Speed Playback speed preferences saved for specific websites

1.2 Statistics (Chrome Storage Sync)

We collect anonymous usage statistics to help you track your usage:

Usage Statistics Number of intros skipped, number of recaps skipped, and estimated total time saved (in seconds). These statistics are stored locally and synced via your Chrome account. You can reset them at any time from the options page.

First-Time User Status Whether you have completed the initial onboarding tutorial. This is stored locally on your device only and is not synced.
